Store Rolling Stock in Soft-Lined Boxes

Rolling stock lasts longer when it is stored properly. I like soft-lined boxes or the original packaging if it is still in good order. Coaches and wagons pick up dust, broken steps and bent buffers when they are left loose in drawers. Ask me how I know.

Keep similar items together and label the boxes. It sounds fussy until you need a certain coach and do not fancy opening twelve mystery boxes. Good storage also makes running sessions easier, because the trains come out clean and ready.
